The last smart band that Xiaomi has released was the Mi Band 4 which soon became one of the most popular best budget smart band in the world. Xiaomi fans have been waiting for the next mi band and finally it looks like the upcoming Mi Band is getting closer to it's release. Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch date to be June 11th, 2020.

The upcoming Mi Band 5 is going to have a 1.2 inches AMOLED display, which is larger than the Mi Band 4 display which was 0.95 inches. This smart band is also rumored to have a longer battery life and also wight less. This smart band could also bring NFC support payment services like Google Pay. In china, it is said to cost only about 179 yuan which is about 26 dollars. It will first launch in China and soon after that it will release globally in an affordable price as well.

Update: Mi Band 5 has been released with a lot more features inlcuding nfc support, magnetic charging system a lot more watch faces, bigger screen, bigger battery and more and the global version costs around 30 dollars. It is a really good deal for the price especially if we look at what it offers for the price.

We can say that this smart band is also going to be an amazing deal for the price. Xiaomi is already claiming it to be better than the previous band which was Mi Band 4. We will just have to wait and see what Xiaomi has to offer this time with their Mi Band 5 on the 11th of june, 2020.
